Miss Rumphius

At the beginning of the year, the second graders started their studies of new plants.  We gathered lupin seeds and carefully planted them.  Now that it's spring, we have seen the new plants beginning to grow.  We were so inspired by the story Miss Rumphius that we took crayon and chalk to paper to illustrate gardens of our own.  (We had as much chalk on us as on the paper!)
