Field Trip - Maple Sugarbush
We ventured to Rogotzke's maple sugar Bush on a beautiful spring day. The sap was running like mad. One of the tubes head,, so we were able to put our hand under the tube and get a handful of sap to drink.we learned about trees local history ecosystems and best of all of maple syrup.

Marty was so excited for this field trip. Being from Washington state this is a whole new experience for all of us.
ReplyDeleteA couple family friends made syrup this year and our family was lucky enough to get up close and be involved. But boy were we all jealous of Marty ;)
And Minnesotans are are right,
It's way better from the tree than the store :)
